Primary school, Nábrežná ul., Nové Zámky, is one of the sixth primary schools in the town of Nové Zámky,
the district town. It has more than about 43 thousand inhabitants, Slovak and Hungarian nationalities.
The town lies on the river Nitra, in the Podunajská lowland,in the southwest part of Slovakia.
But the Danube, Hron,Nitra, Žitava, Ipeľ and partly also Váh rivers flow through the Nové Zámky region.
Our school attends about 500 pupils from 6 to 15 years.The older children are the members of the town ´s sport clubs.
The girls play volleyball and the boys play handball.They got a lot of prices, the awards.Some of them took part in the world sport clubs.
At school we teach children with special needs, too.
We're also involved in the national project " Healthy school" and also in several local projects.
